Pictures of the Grand Canal at Bell Harbour, Monasterevin, Kildare, Ireland taken on 9 January 2010 during the big freeze up. I particularly like the footprints across the snow (water). Some brave (or very drunk) person decided to cross the canal while it was covered in snow. There is no way they could have known the condition of the ice under the snow!
